The dental technology available at Smile Design Dental Practice is amongst the highest in the UK. We are only 1 of 6 practices in the UK to have the cadent Itero scanner which replaces the need for impressions during crown and bridge work. Our x-ray equipment is second to none. All machines in the practices are under two years old and also at the top of the range to ensure that any exposure of x-rays to our patients is kept to a minimum.

Many dental problems require interdisciplinary treatment, i.e. more than one treatment type, for example a patient may need braces and implants; braces and veneers; gum treatment and whitening etc. There may be many times where joint consultations with two dentists are necessary, this is easily arranged here as the dentists will make themselves available in order to give comprehensive consultations.

Dr Suri has completed 100s of smile makeovers and has worked with some of the world's leading dentists.

In order for our patients to make a fully informed decision, we offer a preview of the final result using our dental imaging system. We can showcase what the final result can look like so that our patients take part in designing their final smile.

Dental Veneers
Porcelain dental Veneers or porcelain laminates are made individually like fine pieces of jewellery. They are very thin, semi-translucent shells for the front surfaces of your teeth that are permanently fused. Dr Komal Suri has extensive experience in the design of smiles using dental veneers and has completed hundreds of smile makeovers using them. She is also an international instructor and lecturer in smile design and cosmetic dentistry and teaches dentists how to perfect their skills in hands on courses in the UK.

Composite Veneers are an alternative to porcelain veneers. They can only be used in particular situations in adults but are ideal for younger patients with aesthetic problems whose mouths are still changing.

Dr Raman Aulakh our specialist orthodontist provides great expertise to our patients. He is a Platinum status dentist with Invisalign and has a wealth of experience in many different brace systems, giving our patients the freedom of choice for their own care. The brace systems that are offered include; invisalign, ceramic braces, incognito lingual braces, daemon appliance and removable appliances. Both adults and children are treated here and should they need the expertise of one of the other disciplines joint consultations and treatments can be arranged with the other dentists available at the practice.

Dental Implants
They are a perfect solution for the replacement of teeth that are missing, damaged beyond repair or have been knocked out in an accident.
