I was recommended to visit Komal by a friend of mine who had recently hadsome restorative dental work done at the smile design practice.

My problems stemmed from the fact that my two front teeth, which had beencrowned over thirty years ago, had become fragile to the point that theyboth broke at the gum line. I had temporary posts fitted and then embarkedupon an investigative quest to find a permanent solution for my broken frontteeth.

The first and second practices I visited proposed two implants, atconsiderable cost, but without the guarantee that my smile would be as goodas it had been before.

There seemed to be uncertainty as to the shape and appearance of the gumline, which being my two front teeth was very important to me.

Komal, was the first person to really examine my mouth and jaw in itsentirety and to make me aware of the fact that there was a specific physicalreason my two front teeth had broken.

Until this misalignment of my jaw was corrected and the bite restored toproper position, there was no point replacing the front teeth. This was explained very clearly and carefully and demonstrated using X-rays,so I felt very much aware of my choices.

We decided together, that braces were the best option to correct the bite.

After this treatment, I have had three new crowns and one veneer fitted tomy front four teeth. This process followed teeth whitening so that the newcrowns would be a perfect match.

I am very pleased with the final result, and whilst a number of visits areinvolved, all the staff are very welcoming and professional and make youfeel as comfortable as possible.

At no time do you feel under pressure to have more work than is necessary.

Komal was the first dentist I visited who really made me feel confident andrelaxed and informed at all times.

I would have no hesitation in recommending the smile design practice.
